Brouwerij 't IJ
last updated 20th Oct 2016
Named after the river that runs behind Amsterdams central station this brewery is the oldest survivor from the 1970s Dutch beer renaissance. Exasperating for the variable quality of the brews but forgiven for the taste when on form treat with caution but don't ignore. Try a glass of draught Vlo at Café Belgiqe to sample 't Ij at their best. For students of the Dutch language the names of the beers are mostly delicious puns.
